Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans

The departmental council, the leading partner in motor sports, is a 50% shareholder in the 24 Heures du Mans syndicate (along with the Region, Le Mans Métropole and the City of Le Mans). It provides ongoing financial support for the investments required to modernize the circuit and ensure spectator safety and comfort.

A UNIQUE ASSET

The circuit is used all year round. Sarthe, occupies a special place in the world of motorsport. According to National Geographic, the 24 Hours of Le Mans is the number one sporting event to watch, ahead of the soccer World Cup, the Olympic Games and the Superbowl.

The French Moto Grand Prix, which takes place a month earlier on the Bugatti circuit, is one of the top 5 events in the MotoGP world championship.
